Hello, and welcome! My name is BJ Wallen, and I am a motorcycle enthusiast. I've been riding pretty much all my life thanks to my Dad - since I was seven years old to be exact.
Motorcycles have been a big part of my life. All have given me pleasure. Some have given me pain. I hope that I can continue to ride for as long as I live.
On this site you will find information about:
My motorcycles,
A collection of trips,
Training, and
Musings related to motorcycles in general.
If you primarily ride on the street, I recommend taking a riding safety course through MSF or your local ABATE chapter. Even if you've been riding for 20 years, you will learn something.
If you are into sport bikes, I encourage you to participate in some track days where you can ride your "rocket" like it's made to be ridden while being free from the law, traffic, and other distractions of street riding. If you have some disposable income, look at the California Superbike School or Yamaha Champions Riding School.
For the dirt connoisseur, RawHyde Adventures and American Supercamp offer good instruction.
Whatever your situation, it's not what you ride, it's that you ride it.
