I joined NESBA this past weekend at VIR. They seem to be a well-run organization with a current Web site, a structured Beginner class, and some caliber control riders.
I took the Intro route so I could test drive their operation. The first couple of hours went through without a hitch so I took the plunge, officially joined, and continued riding with the Beginner group (B-Group) for the first day. I hadn't been on VIR since last year, so I took the opportunity to dial back the pace a bit and focus on the little things.
The second day, I ramped it up and got bumped to the Intermediate group (I-Group). We'll see how the next track day goes.
