Mileage: 327
I have returned from my trip to Peru invigorated and ready to see the great USA.
This morning, I left my friends house in Goldvein, VA and headed north. I took US 15 north through Leesburg, VA past Harper's Ferry and Antietam into Mecahnisburg, PA via PA 233. What an amazing road! PA 325 is also nice. They are both roads that I found on MotorcycleRoads.com.
Meachanicsburg, PA is a nice town. I need to research what is there because it has all the major amenities. I thinknow there might be a Navy presence there based upon a road sign I saw. We'll see.
So I stopped in Mechanicsburg for lunch, and I caused myself to miss the last tour at the Yuengling Brewery. Grrr...
The gift shop was still open, so I popped in and bought a souvenir.
Back in the saddle, I rode a little further than I had planned because the campground I mapped out costs $52 at the moment. Oh well. I made camp in Jenny Jump State Forest, New Jersey.
This is my first camp on the road.
