Spark Plug Socket

A 2009 BMW R1200RT has four spark plugs total - one on the top of the head and the other on the side of the head. The plugs require a 16mm, thin wall, deep well socket and an extension for the plug on the top of the head.

Well, a brand new 16mm socket would not fit in the hole sufficiently to remove either plug. I had to grind down the diameter of the socket in order for it to fit into the spark plug hole. After that, removing the bottom socket was a mute point.

This socket is definitely going into the tool bag.
