I finally received the USB port for my motorcycle. It was easy to wire to the PDM60.

The problem came when I plugged my new, Samsung tablet in to charge it. The damn thing wouldn't charge! A little red X appeared over the battery icon.

Long story short, Samsung grounds the USB 5V to the data lines and steps the voltage down to 1.2V. Only then will the tablet think that it is plugged into a charger and accept a charge. UGH!!

After scouring the Net, a mishap with a Samsung Rep, the help of some awesome T-Mobile Reps, a little know-how, and this article, I have a solution.
