The Columbia River Gorge is beautiful. Lush vegetation. Mountains. Waterfalls. The Columbia River. It's amazing. Multnomah Falls and the surrounding area will keep you busy hiking for a long time. It was one of the best places that I have visited thus far.

Beyond the Gorge is Mt. Hood which is equally impressive. It's a lone peak that can be seen from a great distance.
