Permatex

Ever grab the funnel for a tube of Permatex only to find that it's packed full of dried sealant?

Well, here's how I fix that problem.

When you're finished using the Permatex, remove the funnel. Grab a two or three-inch wood screw and shove it down inside the funnel. Eventually, the sealant will dry and adhere to the wood screw.

The next time you need some sealant, give the screw a slight twist as if to tighten it and pull out the dried sealant.

Clean as a whistle!
